I Don't Know Fashion (IDKF): A Grungey Edgy Casual Look + new youtube video!

I've been slacking on my blog lately and it's been OVER A YEAR since I did a fashion-related post! But since it's been a while, I went all out.... I'm giving you guys a fashion post AND a youtube video!! 

This isn't the most interesting outfit in the world, but as you can tell I went for a VERY casual but grungey/edgy look? Or at least that's what I tried to go for lol.

Top: Forever 21
Shorts: Cut offs which I made
Shoes: Lulus
Purse: H&M
Hair: Washed/air-dried and put in a half bun
I made a speedy YouTube video of how I do my makeup on more "glam" occasions! This is NOT a tutorial. This is literally just how I do my makeup if I'm going out with friends or a special occasion that requires me to not look like a potato. I change up the eye makeup depending on the outfit, so this particular night I decided to go with a black smokey eye with my outfit. Of course the one time I decide to film, I don't like how my makeup turned out, but I thought the process was kinda cool to film and thought you guys would be interested in seeing the process! (plus super easy to edit lol) If you're interested in the products I used, I have them listed below.

Eye Shadow "primer": Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in Medium
Eye Shadow: Morphe x The Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette & Wet n' Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow 10 Pan Palette in Nude Awakening (they changed the packaging, but it's the same shadows)
Eyeliner: Colourpop Swerve Creme Gel Eyeliner (bottom) & Steve Laurant Precision Tip Eyeliner (top)
Mascara: It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara
Concealer: Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer in Medium
Blush: Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush (can't find the exact shade on website but it's similar to this color)
Eyebrows: City Color Cosmetics Bold Brow Kit in Medium, Chella Eyebrow Defining Gel - Clear
Setting/Baking Powder: Beauty Bakerie Flour Setting Powder in Yellow
Contour/Bronzer: L'Oreal Pro Contour & Highlight Palette in Deep Profond,  e.l.f. blush and bronzer (can't find it online but it's by e.l.f. and similar to this except instead of blush it was a highlight), and Lush Minerals Contour Kit (I got this off amazon and can't find the exact one but it's basically this one so idk if they changed their branding or something)
Highlight: The Balm Cosmetics Betty-Lou Manizer (it's a bronzer, but I use it as highlight and blush)
Lipliner: Jonteblu Lip Liner Pencil in Spice
Liquid Lipstick: ColourPop Ultra Glossy Lip in Sookie
Setting Spray: Wet n Wild Photo Focus Natural Finish Setting Spray

I have always had pretty clear skin. If I ever had breakouts, which was more frequent in college, I was able to eventually pinpoint what exactly caused it, and it would usually be linked to stress or a certain food. And it was usually like 2-3 breakouts, so nothing like super crazy. New York City Guide: Taylor Swift Edition (With the walking path attached!)

So my fiancé and I went to NYC during the weekend of the 1989 (Taylor's Version) release, so I thought it was only appropriate to plan a Taylor Swift-themed tour especially since 1989 has been referred to as the New York City album. Am I crazy? Yes. But was it fun? YES!!! I thought I could share our tour with you guys, if any Swifties ever want to do the same. And if you're going with a significant other who doesn't like Taylor Swift related activities, just lie and say you're going to some cool new spots to check out. I may or may not have done that. Easy 70s Halloween Costume

We made a girls trip to New Orleans and wanted to dress up for Halloween while we were there! But we didn't want to do anything super crazy or expensive, so we decided to go as hippies/70s girls. Or how most people will call it.... #BASIC. Where we got our stuff: Tie-dye shirts - Me and my friend Brandee went to Hobby Lobby and bought t-shirts and Tulip brand Tie Dye. Literally everything we bought was on sale and cheap, so highly suggest going to Hobby Lobby if you decide to make t-shirts!
