Faith

so today I had an exam. I was extremely stressed out about it because I had a hard time trying to study and understand the material. I was walking to my exam and I have to cross a road a few times on my walk to the building. I looked both ways before crossing as usual (because ya know, I don't wanna die, lol) and then walked across the street. a man was handing out New Testament bibles at the other end of the road and he offered me one and I said no thank you because I already have one (not lying!!). then he went on to tell me that I looked scared and lacked faith while crossing the road because I thought cars were going to hit me. okay, I totally tried not to roll my eyes and got annoyed because, um excuse me, one, I don't know you. two, sorry for being cautious. he kept talking to me and I finally kept walking to my class. but during that walk I started thinking about what he said because...

he was right.

I was stressing so much about the exam and nervous about failing that I lost faith in God. I was putting it all in my hands not thinking about the fact that God has my back for everything. and it happens to everyone. I even read my anchor verse multiple times last night and this morning and I still lost faith!
"Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." Isaiah 41:10
so despite whatever grade I get (or got) on my exam, it's all good, because God has my back... and He's got yours too! so thank you, Man Who Actually Gave Me Great Advice, it helped and opened my eyes and mind a little.

I have always had pretty clear skin. If I ever had breakouts, which was more frequent in college, I was able to eventually pinpoint what exactly caused it, and it would usually be linked to stress or a certain food. And it was usually like 2-3 breakouts, so nothing like super crazy. The breakout would happen, I would freak out for a second (probably post a snapchat about it 🙊), and then my skin would go back to normal. But in the past 5ish months, my skin has changed. New York City Guide: Taylor Swift Edition (With the walking path attached!)

So my fiancé and I went to NYC during the weekend of the 1989 (Taylor's Version) release, so I thought it was only appropriate to plan a Taylor Swift-themed tour especially since 1989 has been referred to as the New York City album. Am I crazy? Yes. But was it fun? YES!!! I thought I could share our tour with you guys, if any Swifties ever want to do the same. We made a girls trip to New Orleans and wanted to dress up for Halloween while we were there! But we didn't want to do anything super crazy or expensive, so we decided to go as hippies/70s girls.
