I Don't Know Fashion (IDKF): A Cold Night Out

Image
I haven't done one of these posts in a while! The weather has been so bipolar lately. It was 70 degrees one week and freezing the next week, so it has been difficult to dress up. This is an outfit I wore on a really cold night out. It's sometimes hard to create a cute outfit when it's freezing cold outside but when you go inside a building, it's hot! So I paired these boots with a lightweight sweater and a miniskirt and it was perfect. It was very comfortable and comfort is key for me. 😀 (lol I already know my family is gonna hate this outfit and the lipstick. I'm sorry papa and mummyyy and all my other fam around the globe 😁) SWEATER: Charlotte Russe BRALETTE: Victoria's Secret SKIRT: Forever 21 BOOTS: Forever 21 CHOKER: Wet Seal Makeup details (WARNING: I AM NOT A MAKEUP ARTIST.) Don't Work For People

Disclaimer: I am not perfect. I do not claim to be holy. I am not a Christian because I am perfect and holy. People probably look at my social media and think I'm crazy. But my relationship with Christ is as strong as it is today due to the fact that I am the opposite of the perfect person and make plenty of mistakes in life and I'm sure people who know me know that, lol. Every day I am trying to be better. I am not trying to "preach" at anyone and everything that I post on here related to my faith is personal experiences that have affected me and I just want to share! So my parents hosted a Bible study at our home over MLK weekend and I wasn't too thrilled about it, but accepted it because it's always nice to start a new year out with Jesus. My dad chose Colossians 3 as the reading which I thought was random, but I assumed it would be a good chapter. On the day of the Bible study, I woke up and checked my phone as usual. 22 Good Things That Happened In 2016

Image
I'm gonna be straight up honest here. 2016 was definitely not my year and things definitely did not go as planned. But one thing I have been trying to learn (and failing miserably at) is to be more optimistic and look at the bright side. God has a reason for everything to happen and he has a good plan. So here I am sharing all the good things that happened to me this year and good things in general that happened in 2016. I got an internship this summer in Michigan. I moved very far away for an entire summer from family and friends for the first time. I learned to adult a quite a bit and do things on my own rather than depend on my parents. I got a gym membership. I visited 10 states this year → Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, and New York. (I clearly like the eastern United States lol) I visited my favorite city and happy place, New York City. Lilly Singh ( Superwoman ) and Liza Koshy  finally collabed on YouTub

November and December Favorites 2016

2016 IS OVER. AHHHHH. Here are my final favorites of the year! Floral Lace Miniskirt // Forever 21 I love lace. I love florals. I love the color black. This skirt had everything I liked in one piece of clothing! It's super comfy and perfect for a night out or you can dress it down with leggings and a loose top. That's what I did and wore it to a football game recently. Denim Jogger Pants // Forever 21 If you've noticed, comfort is a huge priority for me when it comes to clothing. And these pants are the epitome of comfort. I love them! Leggings // Walmart I've been meaning to post about my obsession with leggings but haven't gotten around to it. I was running errands at Walmart with my family and I remembered last year that I found a pair of leggings and wrote a post about it (click  here  to read it) so I thought maybe this year I'd find another cute pair and I did!! High Definition Powder // e.l.f. Just learned how to "bake" the
