21 Things I've Learned at 21
2. Clothes cost money.
3. You'll spend more money on food than
you think.
4. In the end, family will be the only
ones there for you no matter what.
5. Online shopping is better than going to
the actual store.
6. You can't force yourself to fit in with
a certain group of people.
7. Don’t waste time trying to fit in with
said group of people. They aren't worth it and you will be miserable.
8. Don't try to impress people unless it's on your resume or during a job interview.
9. Be yourself.
10. It is good to have high standards.
11. People will use you for their benefit. It’s up to you to
decide how to react to it.
12. Boys look better in real life than on
social media. Don’t even bother trying to show your friends a cute boy based on
their Facebook photos.
13. Parents were right about everything.
14. Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton will be president of the United States of America.
15. When Google Maps offers a faster route to your destination, take the faster route.
16. The friends who actually hang out with you when they say they want to hang out are the ones worth keeping around.
17. God works in His timing, not yours.
18. Be nice to people. You never know what effect it will have on someone.
19. Staying in one place for a long period of time can make you go insane. Take time to get out even if it's only out of your house.
20. It's always good to be a little open-minded. Not everyone will have the same views as you, but it's healthy to see things from another perspective.
21. And just because you're 21, it doesn't mean you're a full-grown adult and you have to have your life together.

sarah
