Average Girl Makeup: Blue Halo Eye (plus new youtube video!)

I'm gonna be straight up honest, I feel like a total fraud here talking about makeup because I am not a makeup artist, lol. But like I said in my last post, makeup and playing dress up has been an outlet for me during these stressful days in quarantine! I filmed a video for my youtube channel and wore this look in the video and wanted to share a couple of pictures with you guys... since I obviously didn't get to go out and wear this look anywhere, lol. I mean, I went and checked the mail, but I don't think that counts. 😂The look is not perfect, but this was the first time I did a colorful halo eye!



STAND OUT PRODUCTS
I put the red/brown colors all over the lid, but focusing on the outer and inner corners. Then I put the blue in the middle of the lid, blending it into the red/brown tones. From looking at the photos, I think could have blended it more which is bothering me, but this was my first time! And it looks okay... if you don't look too closely, lol.

Blush for me is one of those products that just fades so quickly, so I put a lot on. I started out with the Milani blush all over my cheeks and even my nose just to bring color to my face. Then I put the Tarte blush all over my cheeks to top it off and bring that extra "life" into the skin.

Lip: Covergirl Lip Perfection lip liner in the shade "Sophisticated", e.l.f. Nabela Noor Liquid Lipstick, Makeup Revolution Pout Bomb Plumping Gloss in "Glaze"
They no longer make the lip liner and the liquid lipstick and I am so sad!!!! But basically just take a dark lip liner and line the edges of your lips with it, put a neutral nude liquid lipstick over it focusing on the center of your lips to give it an ombré effect, then top it off with the gloss.






I wore this makeup for an in-depth life update of the last year and a half of my life!! It's a lot, but please watch it till the end. Hopefully it will help out some of my younger readers and viewers out there if you're struggling with figuring out what to do in life. ✨

I have always had pretty clear skin. If I ever had breakouts, which was more frequent in college, I was able to eventually pinpoint what exactly caused it, and it would usually be linked to stress or a certain food. New York City Guide: Taylor Swift Edition (With the walking path attached!)

So my fiancé and I went to NYC during the weekend of the 1989 (Taylor's Version) release, so I thought it was only appropriate to plan a Taylor Swift-themed tour especially since 1989 has been referred to as the New York City album. Am I crazy? Yes. But was it fun? YES!!! I thought I could share our tour with you guys, if any Swifties ever want to do the same. Easy 70s Halloween Costume

We made a girls trip to New Orleans and wanted to dress up for Halloween while we were there! But we didn't want to do anything super crazy or expensive, so we decided to go as hippies/70s girls.
