Average Girl Fashion: Quarantine Edition

Happy Quarantine!! Just kidding, I hate this and I hope y'all are taking it better than I am because I am dying, lol. Not only am I not a homebody, but I am also quarantining by myself, so I'm literally alone 24/7. It's fun for a little while, but definitely not something I enjoy doing all the time!! And I got furloughed from my job due to the virus, so I'm EXTRA bored trying to kill time without spending my entire day in bed watching Friends.

Something that I've learned during this time of quarantine is that makeup and dressing up truly bring me happiness. I mean, if you've been following me for a while, you know that I love makeup and fashion, but this is different! I've been feeling so down and sad during all this, so taking a couple of days during the week to do my makeup and dress up has really really helped me get out of my slump temporarily! So I thought I would share two of my looks. Not sure exactly why I'm sharing these because I don't think anyone is going to copy these looks (especially since most people are at home), but it was fun for me to put on makeup and shop my closet! And y'all, dresses are SO COMFY!!! Like I think I'm going to lounge around the house in dresses more often. It's even more comfortable than wear a t-shirt and leggings.

And just so it's clear.... YES I AM AWARE. THIS IS NOT HOW PEOPLE NORMALLY LOOK OR DRESS WHEN THEY ARE STUCK AT HOME. LET ME LIVE.

If you're like me and trying to figure out how to get out of a slump, play dress up!! It makes me feel so much better and gives me something to do. "But sarah, no one is going to see the outfits!" That is what social media is for, lol. And why I'm glad I have this blog tbh. 🙈I have a couple of outfits in my closet which I don't even see myself wearing out in public, so I think I'm going to play around with those and maybe share them here! My fashion/makeup posts normally don't get a lot of views, but it is helping my mental health and gives me something to post when I don't know what to post. Please comment or send me ideas of what to talk about next!

I have always had pretty clear skin. If I ever had breakouts, which was more frequent in college, I was able to eventually pinpoint what exactly caused it, and it would usually be linked to stress or a certain food. And it was usually like 2-3 breakouts, so nothing like super crazy. The breakout would happen, I would freak out for a second (probably post a snapchat about it 🙊), and then my skin would go back to normal. But in the past 5ish months, my skin has changed. Easy 70s Halloween Costume

We made a girls trip to New Orleans and wanted to dress up for Halloween while we were there! But we didn't want to do anything super crazy or expensive, so we decided to go as hippies/70s girls. Or how most people will call it.... #BASIC. Where we got our stuff: Tie-dye shirts - Me and my friend Brandee went to Hobby Lobby and bought t-shirts and Tulip brand Tie Dye. Literally everything we bought was on sale and cheap, so highly suggest going to Hobby Lobby if you decide to make t-shirts!
